I saw that as a mortal human the main reason for me to work
on a job was, that I am a mortal who needs food to live and unless I’m directly
working on food production, I need some indirect way of getting the food. And
the indirect way of getting the food is the job which pays me money or some
other form of value which I can exchange for food.
By seeing that, I saw that for a mortal human, first of all,
jobs are indirect ways and often significantly less physically demand ways for
getting food. So now the reason why job is important for a mortal human became
much clearer, and for fulfillment and fun I can do and do other activities,
activities that are fun for me and often are not even related to getting food,
activities which I would do for fun even as an immortal.
Seeing all that gave me mantal freedom stop forcing myself
to find or make my job fulfilling and fun one, and helped me embrace the
importance of a job as way for getting food, food that is inescapably important
for a mortal human. That also got me unexpected side effects, that is, after
reducing stress of wanting my job to be fulfilling and fun and just seeing the
reasons why it matters to me as a mortal human, it got easier for me to do my
job, because now besides reducing the stress, the connection to the important
stuff, that is food for a mortal human, became simpler, clearer, and more
concrete.
